Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a small village called Nameville. In Nameville, everyone’s first name was also their last name. This may seem strange to us, but in Nameville, it was perfectly normal.
There were two families in Nameville: the Kindhearts and the Meanies. The Kindhearts, as their name suggests, were a loving and caring family. They always helped their neighbors and were always there for each other.
The Meanies, on the other hand, were the opposite. They were selfish and rude, and they never helped anyone but themselves.
One day, a new family moved to Nameville. They were the Brights. The Brights were a happy family, and they quickly made friends with the Kindhearts.
But the Meanies didn’t like the Brights. They thought the Brights were too happy and too friendly. So the Meanies decided to play a trick on the Brights.
They made a fake letter from the mayor of Nameville, telling the Brights that their last name was no longer Bright, but Meanie. The Brights were shocked and didn’t know what to do.
But the Kindhearts knew that something was wrong. They decided to investigate, and they found out that the letter was a fake. They told the Brights the truth and helped them to get their name back.
In the end, the Meanies were ashamed of what they had done. They apologized to the Brights and promised never to play mean tricks again.
From that day on, the people of Nameville learned the importance of being kind and true. They realized that a name is just a name, and what really matters is how you treat others.
