Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom, there lived a group of animals who wanted to have proper names. They were tired of being called “the rabbit,” “the fox,” and “the deer.” So, they went to the wise old owl, who was known for his wisdom and knowledge.
The owl listened to their request and said, “I can give you all proper names, but it will come at a price. You must complete a task for each letter of your new name.”
The rabbit, fox, and deer agreed to the owl’s terms, and the owl gave them their new names.
The rabbit’s name was “Rosie,” and she had to plant a rose garden for the queen.
The fox’s name was “Felix,” and he had to find a lost treasure that belonged to the king.
The deer’s name was “Daisy,” and she had to create a daisy chain for the princess.
The animals set off on their tasks, and they encountered many obstacles along the way. Rosie had to fight off a group of mischievous rabbits who wanted to eat her roses. Felix had to outsmart a group of bandits who were also searching for the treasure. Daisy had to brave a raging river to find the perfect daisies for her chain.
Despite the challenges, the animals persevered, and they finally completed their tasks. The queen was delighted with Rosie’s rose garden, and she gave her a basket of carrots as a reward. The king was impressed with Felix’s bravery, and he gave him a medal for his efforts. The princess was overjoyed with Daisy’s daisy chain, and she gave her a beautiful necklace as a token of her appreciation.
From that day forward, the animals were known by their new names, and they were respected and admired by all the other creatures in the kingdom. And the wise old owl smiled, knowing that he had helped the animals find something even more valuable than proper names – character and perseverance.
